Goofy and needy awkwardly stumbling thru life the whole lot of us

How silly we are when we dismiss and denounce what we don’t yet know

Not so ambitious but here and there I dabble in zeal and fervor

We are saved by Grace So why do we keep trying to pay our own way?

On this fine fall day There’s nothing I’d rather do Than clean the basement  

The arrogant man doesn’t like to be questioned but question we must

Words put to music aren’t necessarily truth still,  we believe them

I want to do more than merely avoid sinning Lord, help me live well

Can we please just stop the “authentic worship” bit and just worship?
